Okay, I'm busy as hell so this will be short and sweet......Seems like common sense to me, but I hear it a lot so I guess maybe it isn't.

Duh.....things don't always take the same amount of time to cook. If you ordered a 1/2 lb. burger well done, and the other table ordered a salad, what do you think takes longer to prepare?

As the old saying goes "You can't fix stupid" or for that matter self-centeredness (I hope I spelled that correctly) - although they could work on it.
Excellent rant! I hate it when people are rude in restaurants! I want to be rude to them and say "will you just fucking chill asshole!"
If you're in that big a hurry just go to Micky D's. Sitdown restaurants are for taking your time and enjoying the company of whoever you're with.
yup, im with you, and MHL, i dont dig rude people in restaurants whatsoever... i cant tell you how many times ive walked on people in restaurants because of it. rude just doesnt cut it (ha, steak vs salad, cut it, lol, sorry).
