"V" is for VACATION

I am on vacation!!! Whoo hoo!
Monday morning the kid and I flew to Denver then to Tennessee. We came to visit my family, who I haven't seen in two years. We will spend ten days here, then fly to Utah, spend a night there, then drive to Idaho for a few days before we go home.

Yesterday was fun. We went to Dave & Busters for dinner, then we went to the Grand Ole Opry. We saw Craig Morgan, Joe Diffie, Charlie Daniels, and Opry regulars, Jimmy Dickens and Bill Anderson. All the performers were great, but the best was when Charlie Daniels sang "How Great Thou Art" for his last song.
Today we woke up early to go hit some golf balls. I have never even held a golf club, but my older brother and my oldest niece are totally into golf so the kid and I decided to go with them. It was fun, but I have to say that golf is not my "thang". Other golfers were actually laughing at me. I can't say that I blame them.

The last couple of days have been fun, and I'm looking forward to the next few. Today my little brother, his girlfriend and their daughter are coming over to see us, and my mom is making my favorite dinner....spaghetti. Tomorrow we are going to "Dollywood". Can't wait.

Hope you are all having a great week so far! :)

Glad you are having a great time! Say hi to everyone for me. Your snake ate today. It was a trip to watch.
Silly rabbit, V is for V-twin. See you in UT. xoxo

Sounds like a great time. Enjoy!

(I've only been able to golf at extremely drunk company outings. That way, everyone plays as bad as I do!)

Sounds like a great vacay! I would love to see the Grand Ole Opry someday. And I can't golf, either...my husband says the easiest way to win the game is to put the ball in your pocket and walk to the 19th hole! :)

Wow! Sounds like a great vacation. I would love, I mean LOVE to go to the Grand Ole Opry. I got the privilege to see Charlie Daniels years ago in NYC. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your vacation.

Tiger Woods Golf on XBox is pretty fun. I'm not so good at the reality golf either, I must say. Glad you're having a good vacay! Can't wait to read about the rest!

Glad you are having a good time.

When people ask me if I golf, I reply,

"Well, I hit that little white ball around the course uncontrollably. If you want to call that golf, than yes, I do."

I finally gave my clubs away. Only twice did anyone ever ask me to golf a second time with them. Welcome to Tennessee B.B. You are right next door. I can't wait to meet y'all on Sunday. Hate I'm leading that ride but it shouldn't be too late when I get back. Dollywood is pretty cool.

Sounds like great fun!

I used to golf before I met Jay...wasn't very good at it, but it was a fun way to get some exercise, soak in some sun, and spend time with my gurlz! Now I'm on my bike so much I haven't got the time for it ;-)

Dave- It would be ten times better if you were here. Everyone says hi back. I hate the time change, I woke up at 7 this morning and wanted to call you, but realized you would be pissed if I woke you up at 5. :) Thanks for taking care of my baby! Can't wait for Utah. Talk to you soon. xoxoxo

All- Dollywood was awesome! I will write a full post on it soon.

Ronman- We are looking forward to seeing you! Don't worry about the ride, we'll be here when you get back!

Glad you're enjoying ur vacation!

I'm with Ann's husband Big D on golf; the 19th is my best hole. I enjoy it, but I'm just not good at it.

Give my best to Ronman if you see him!
