Recharging the Battery

I have been extremely busy lately. Wedding planning, working, taking care of my child, taking care of my man. When I had time to ride, it was pouring down rain. When the weather was good...no time. So no surprise when I went to start my bike the other day to ride to work and the battery was dead.
I was really looking forward to that little ride to work, it would've only been a five minute ride, but hey, five minutes is more than no minutes, right?
So Dave got home that night and promptly hooked my baby up to the charger. She was getting a good charge, so thankfully I would be able to ride on Saturday. I had a day with time, and beautiful weather.
After putting 140 miles on my girl Saturday her battery is good and charged, and you know what? So is mine.

P.S. 128 days and counting.....

Always good to keep the battery charged...yours and Patience's. We just did a Tucson trip last weekend. My first overnight trip with Annabelle. I have to find time to sit and post about it. It was fun.

Glad your busy, if you were bored there would be trouble! ;)

I fully understand the no time to ride concept and it sucks. 127 days you say? A tad longer for us, but damn it is going quickly. Glad you got in a ride.

Hey, what's up with all this spam? What the hell are the Chinese spamming you for when you can't even read all that jibberish? Gees!

Our bikes are all charged up and rarin' to go. They are saying upper 70s to near 80 tomorrow...unheard of for this time of year. We will be spinning our wheels for sure!

Erica- Thank you. I checked out your blog as well, you and Sam remind me of my niece. Glad you stopped by.

Ann- I can't wait to hear about your Tucson trip. Speaking of trips, it doesn't look like April is going to work for me. :( Just too much going on, but as far as I know the boys are still plotting.

AHD- It goes so fast. You think you have all this time and then....SMACK...It's here.

Joker- This is where I was going to make some silly joke about being a Chinese spy,... but I decided I shouldn't do that....I might end up on some sort of list...shit, they probably already found this and put me on it.
Hope you guys have a greet ride weekend!

No excuses, no excuses. If the battery is dead from non-operation, well, then your priorities are screwed up...oh...you were talking about your bike? pffftttt....silly me, I'll go put back the AA's

Hmmm....I love how you gave the illusion that the kid and the man were not actually the same person...good job babe!

Was that a plug in charger? Or was it ‘D’ cells?

Mine was hard to start back in Jan. after sitting since Thanksgiving. The holiday's and my trip to Iowa prevented me from riding for about three months! I was lost!

We put her on the trickle charger for a few days before a weekend when I knew we were going to try to take the bikes out. No problem. After a sluggish start... we rode off and recharged... together.

Don't forget to make time for yourself every once in a while. It's very important!

BTW... still waiting for my invitation! LOL!

Dave- Silly goose!

Willy- Not even going there!

Lady R.- I try to make time for myself as much as possible, sometimes it's just hard to get it all together, but you know. :)

Steph- Glad you and Dan had a good first ride of the season!

Webster- I know, I know, it's just not something we really have a need for often, Dave rides his bike everyday, and usually mine gets out at least enough to keep it alive. But it is something we should have in our garage. :)

MQ- You too!

Can't wait to get mine back together for a recharge ride, a looong recharge ride. Was hoping to make the tail of the dragon ride. Though I'm not in to hard charging twisties like those rice riders, I prefer it steady and enjoyable like.
Glad you got out to ride.

Wooley- Funny, I was just thinking about the tail of the dragon, honestly, I have no desire to do it. I enjoy some twisties now and then, but I think that would just be too much stress for me.
Hope you get out for your recharge ride soon!

Glad you got her up and runnin. Shit, I had to replace my battery this season. I think that's the 3rd or 4th battery since I got the bike.
